Olaf Schaftenaar added a career-high 21 points and Gary Payton II had 15 points and five steals for the Beavers (8-2). Jamee Crockett had 14 points for the Blue Demons (6-4). Founder and Chairman of Bose Corporation Dead at 83

Bose began to study acoustics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was on the faculty for more than 40 years.

While Bose speakers were expensive, they had a reputation for high quality.

Bose's company, which was privately held, specialized in long-range research that the Wall Street Journal says could never have been done by a public company. In 2011, Bose donated the majority of the stock in his corporation to MIT, which was to use the dividends for education and research.
