NJ Man Comes Forward as Last Powerball Jackpot Winner

b_250_0_16777215_00_images_obgrabber_2013-08_b9c3262928.jpgWilliam Thomas Cain/Getty Images (SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J.) --A man from South Brunswick, N.J. came forward as the third and final winner of the $448 million Powerball jackpot. Mario Scarnici recently showed up to claim his winnings with his two adult sons, the Star-Ledger reports. Scarnici bought the winning ticket for the Aug. 7 drawing at a Stop & Shop on Route 522, according to the Star-Ledger. He will take home about $62 million after taxes.

New Jersey hit the jackpot for this lottery drawing. A group of 16 co-workers in Ocean County, N.J. also took home a winning ticket, from an Acme Market in Little Egg Harbor.

The third winner of the $448 million Powerball was a man in Minnesota.
