Rowling, the author of the wildly popular book series, is writing a new film. It will be based on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a fictious textbook for the wizarding world she created in the Potter books.

In a statement, Rowling said the movie “is neither a prequel nor a sequel to the Harry Potter series, but an extension of the wizarding world.”

The story will begin in New York, 70 years before the start of Potter’s story.
