Weekly Jobless Claims Sink to 323,000

b_250_0_16777215_00_images_obgrabber_2013-11_79975e4f7b.jpgiStock/Thinkstock (WASHINGTON) -- Jobless claims continued to fall during the second week of November, the Labor Department reported on Thursday. For the week ending Nov. 16, the number of people filing for benefits dropped by 21,000 to 323,000.  Claims for the previous week were revised upward from 339,000 to 344,000.

The four-week average also went down last week, decreasing by 6,750 to 338,500.
