It was the fourth night of the CBS program's week-long salute to the Fab Four, in honor of their historic first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show 50 years ago.

The Flaming Lips and Sean Lennon's performance was definitely the most visually-stunning of the tributes the Late Show has aired this week, highlighted by colorful lights and confetti, with a bearded Lennon looking very much like his late father.

Broken Bells, Sting and Lenny Kravitz covered Beatles songs earlier in the week. Lauryn Hill will enter the spotlight at the Ed Sullivan Theater, where the Late Show is taped, on Friday night.

CBS will air the star-studded music special The Beatles: The Night That Changed America -- A Grammy Salute this Sunday night.
