KISS, Tom Jones to Perform at L.A.-Area Benefit Concert for Children's Charity Next Week

b_250_0_16777215_00_images_obgrabber_2014-02_5ae792af17.jpgAXS TV -- KISS and Tom Jones are among the artists slated to perform next week at a benefit concert for MendingKids.org, a charity that helps children in need of important surgical procedures.  The show, which takes place February 14 at the House of Blues located on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California, will be broadcast live on AXS TV at 11 p.m. ET.

The event, which is called MendingKids.Org -- All-Star Concert for Children Worldwide, also will feature performances by comedian and talk-show host Arsenio Hall, blues rocker Kenny Wayne Shepherd, U.K. pop artist Natasha Bedingfield and Los Angeles rock act Vintage Trouble, among others.  The show will be hosted by illusionist Penn Jillette.

Over the last eight years, MendingKids.org has provided life-changing operations to more than 1,500 kids in 54 countries.  The organization also funds training and research to help doctors in various underprivileged countries create surgical programs to help local children in need.
