-- Paul Rodgers is among the latest artists to join the impressive lineup of the Rock Legends Cruise III, which is scheduled to take place in February 2015. Along with the founding Free and Bad Company singer, other newly added performers for the seafaring music festival include Dave Mason's Traffic Jam, The Outlaws, Molly Hatchet and Triumph frontman Rik Emmett.
The third installment Rock Legends Cruise also will include performances by such previously announced stars as The Doobie Brothers, Alice Cooper, 38 Special, Blue Oyster Cult, Edgar Winter, The Marshall Tucker Band, Ten Years After, Uriah Heep, Savoy Brown, Pat Travers Band and ex-Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle.
The nautical extravaganza is scheduled to embark from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on February 19, 2015, and will stop off in Nassau in the Bahamas two days later before returning to port on February 23.
Each act will play two or three concerts during the journey. The trip also will feature meet-and-greets and Q&A sessions, and offer such activities as onboard surfing, basketball, boxing, golf, rock-climbing and gourmet dining.
Money raised by the Rock Legends Cruise III will help support the Native American Heritage Association, which helps support Native American families that live on reservations in South Dakota and Wyoming. Visit RockLegendsCruise.com for more details.
