That will change in June, when the veteran rockers kick off a major North American tour that will make more than 35 stops around the country. The band's "Heaven on Earth" trek, named for the new album's first single, kicks off on June 5 in Hollywood, Florida, and is mapped out through an August 31 show in Huron, South Dakota.

Among the many major cities the tour will visit are Atlanta, St. Louis, Chicago, Toronto, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Nashville, Cleveland and Baltimore.

At select concerts, Boston will raise money for Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and the Shriners Hospitals for Children -- a couple of charities supported by guitarist/songwriter Tom Scholz -- through sales of the band's classic Greatest Hits CD.  Fans purchasing the album at the shows will have the chance to win an Epiphone guitar autographed by Scholz.

Life, Love & Hope is Boston's sixth studio album and the group's first since 2002's Corporate America.  The record features lead vocals by several singers, including original Boston frontman Brad Delp, who committed suicide in 2007.  Also contributing their vocal talents to the release are Scholz, ex-Boston bassist Kimberly Dahme, and current members Tommy DeCarlo and David Victor.
