The benefit raises money for a collective of some of the world's top research scientists in their efforts to discover the cause and develop a cure for multiple sclerosis.

Also set to perform at this year's gala is contemporary pop/R&B star Cee Lo Green. In addition, the event will feature a live auction offering a variety of interesting collectibles and packages, including an Aston Martin Vanquish car designed by Ozzy Osbourne's family.  Last year, Osbourne's wife, Sharon, and son Jack -- the latter of whom was diagnosed with MS in 2012 -- were presented with the organization's Medal of Hope honor.

This year, the Medal of Hope honor will be presented to MediaNews Group founder Dean Singleton, a longtime MS sufferer who has contributed a large amount of time and money to support the fight against the disease.
