-- Three legendary performers are headed to Broadway for the musical revue After Midnight, which earned seven Tony nominations on Tuesday, including one for best musical. Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight and Natalie Cole have been tapped to take part in the popular revue, which was created to pay homage to Duke Ellington's orchestra that played at the famous Cotton Club nightclub in Harlem in the 1920s.
LaBelle is scheduled to perform from June 10 through June 29, Knight's stint begins July 8 and runs through August 3, and Cole will appear from August 5 through August 31 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
The newly added acts join a star-studded lineup that has included Fantasia Barrino, Toni Braxton, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Vanessa Williams and k.d. lang.
