Springsteen & I features interviews with many of the New Jersey rock legend's passionately devoted followers, and also boasts previously unseen footage of the Boss and his E Street Band in concert. As an added bonus, the movie screenings will offer six performances by Bruce and company from their set at the 2012 Hard Rock Calling festival in London, including a guest appearance by Paul McCartney.
The documentary also will be shown in many U.S. cinemas on July 30. Meanwhile, the film's official website, SpringsteenandI.com, has launched a special interactive area called Springstream that helps the Boss' fans connect with each other via various online social-networking outlets.
In other news, Springsteen has just added a September 12 concert in Santiago, Chile to his Wrecking Ball tour itinerary. He's currently winding down a European leg that finishes up with a July 27-28 stand in Kilkenny, Ireland. He also will be making an appearance at the Rock in Rio festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on September 21.
