-- Rod Stewart just loves it in Sin City. He's just announced an extension of his current residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Stewart, who's marking the 50th performance of his show Rod Stewart: The Hits, has renewed the show for two years starting this fall. Nine new November concerts have been added: November 6, 9, 10, 13, 16, 17, 20, 23 and 24.
In a statement, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer said, "I'm thrilled to add another two years. The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is literally one of the best venues in the entire world; there's not a bad seat in the house and it sounds great -- I love it there." One of the reasons Stewart loves Vegas, as he recently told ABC News Radio, is because "they treat me like I'm Elvis there." In addition, the gig allows him to fly back to home in L.A. after his show and be in bed by 11:30 p.m.
