-- Stephen Stills will reunite with fellow Buffalo Springfield member Richie Furay at the 2013 Americana Honors & Awards Show, which takes place September 18 at Nashville's famous Ryman Auditorium. Stephen and Richie will team up to perform the Stills-penned Buffalo Springfield classic "For What It's Worth" at the event, which marks the start of the annual Americana Music Festival and Conference.
Other artists slated to perform during the ceremony include Dr. John, longtime Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter, Emmylou Harris and Duane Eddy. In addition, Lifetime and Special Achievement awards will be handed out to Stills, Hunter, Dr. John, Eddy and the late Hank Williams, among others.
As previously reported, more than 100 roots-music acts are expected to play various venues around Nashville during the five-day extravaganza, which runs through September 22. Among the noteworthy acts who'll be performing showcases are David Bromberg, Delbert McClinton, Lisa Marie Presley, Richard Thompson, Rosanne Cash, Susan Cowsill and The Del-Lords.
