Every album in the set replicates the packaging of the original discs, with special modifications added to two of the releases.  The sleeve of the reissued version of the band's self-titled debut won't be glued so that it can fold out into a poster, as it had originally been designed to do.  In addition, the updated Hotel California will come with a facsimile of the poster included with the original LP, but now featuring full-color photos of the band's members by Norman Seeff.

Only 5,000 copies of The Studio Albums 1972-1979 vinyl collection will be available.  Each set will be numbered, and the slipcase that houses the LPs will feature a gold foil stamp bearing the Eagles logo.

The band recently launched a new North American leg of its History of the Eagles Tour, the 2013 leg of which is scheduled to wind down with a November 23 concert in Orlando, Florida.  The Eagles also will help celebrate the reopening of The Forum in Inglewood, California, next year with shows on January 15, 17 and 18.
