The bash will feature a short film about the legendary Beatle and his book, as well as presentations by several celebrity speakers, including Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman, and acclaimed rock photographer Henry Diltz.

Photograph features a wide variety of previously unseen images snapped by Starr throughout his life, along with accompanying personal recollections from the 73-year-old rock legend.  Among the many pics included in the book are photos from Starr's childhood, as well as candid shots he took of his Beatles band mates and other musical collaborators in various scenarios and locations.  Each copy of the publication is personally signed by Ringo, is hand-numbered and has a hand-bound leather cover.  The tome is a companion to an interactive ebook that was released in June via Apple's iBookstore.

The launch event also will feature the unveiling of The Photograph Portfolio, of series of high-quality, autographed prints of Starr's photos that will be available for purchase.  In conjunction with the Photograph premiere, select pics from Ringo's collection will be displayed at the Amoeba Hollywood record store before and after the event.

Proceeds from the launch party will benefit Lotus Foundation, a charitable organization founded by Starr and his wife that helps support several social welfare projects.
