-- Four years after his death, Michael Jackson is still raking in the cash. His estate earned more money than that of any other deceased celebrity between October 2012 and October 2013, according to a new ranking by Forbes magazine. Michael's estate pulled in 160 million dollars. That's pretty impressive, considering that Forbes' recently-announced highest-earning living celebrity, Madonna, made 125 million for the one-year period ending last June.
Michael's earnings stem from sales of his music; his stake in the Sony/ATV catalog that includes songs by The Beatles, Lady Gaga and other hitmakers; and the Cirque du Soleil shows that were inspired by the King of Pop.
Another King sits at number two on Forbes' list: Elvis Presley, who raised 55 million dollars. Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz, Elizabeth Taylor and Bob Marley round out the top five.
Taylor topped last year's list.
Here are the top 10 deceased celebrities on Forbes' list:
1. Michael Jackson, $160 million.
