Aerosmith Announces 2014 European Tour; Steven Tyler Talks Solo Album Plans -- After wrapping up its 2013 tour schedule with a Latin Amercian trek that ended in late October, Aerosmith is preparing to hit the road again next year. The band has announced a new European leg of its ongoing Global Warming World Tour that currently runs from the late spring to the early summer.

The trek, which is slated to visit 12 cities in 10 countries, kicks off May 17 in Sofia, Bulgaria, and is plotted out through a June 25 show in Milan Italy.  The outing includes stops in Moscow, Helsinki, Stockholm and Berlin, and also will feature a June 15 appearance at the U.K.'s famous Download Festival in Donington, England.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Russia's RIA Novosti newspaper, frontman Steven Tyler talked about what fans in the country can expect when Aerosmith performs in Moscow.

"We will be damn charming and young," he declared.  "We will be ourselves, we will enrage Moscow's authorities and become great friends of the youth.  That is rock and roll, and that is what it does."

Tyler also shared a bit about his plans for his debut solo album.

"I want to go further and to do something with the strings, maybe in the field of rock, perhaps with a trumpet and a kazoo," he quipped, adding, "I just want to move aside a little and to do something crazy."

The demon of screamin' reported that he planned to work on the project from January to May, and revealed that he's spoken with Paul McCartney and Elton John about possibly collaborating with him.
