Washington, D.C., Event to Recreate Beatles' First U.S. Concert

b_250_0_16777215_00_images_obgrabber_2014-01_c4def8a2f3.jpgWebster PR -- A concert is being organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' first full U.S. performance, which took place February 11, 1964, at the Washington Coliseum in Washington, D.C.  The Yesterday & Today show will be held this February 11 at the site of the venue and will feature a headlining performance by the tribute band Beatlemania, which will play the exact set as the Fab Four did. The concert also will feature a performance by 1960s pop star Tommy Roe, who was one of the opening acts at The Beatles' 1964 show.

Motley Crue Announces “All Bad Things Must Come to an End” Event

Details Revealed About Upcoming Archival Allman Brothers Band CD Set and DVD

Arriving on February 18 will be a two-CD set titled Play All Night: Live at the Beacon Theatre 1992 that features performances from the band's first extended residency at the famed New York City venue, and Live at Great Woods, a DVD offering long-form video of a September 1991 concert the group played in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
