Sting's Musical "The Last Ship" Gets Chicago Premiere & Broadway Opening Dates

Carole King Named MusiCares Person of the Year; Will Be Saluted by Lady Gaga, James Taylor & More

Carole King Keeping Busy with Alicia Keys Benefit, Broadway Show

You may recall that she was slated to perform last year at the annual Black Ball benefit event for Keep a Child Alive, the charity spearheaded by R&B singer Alicia Keys. That never happened because last year's Ball was postponed due to Hurricane Sandy. King will perform at this year's Black Ball, however, which is scheduled to take place November 7 at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom.
