Paul McCartney Reportedly Interested in Playing Last Concert Held at San Francisco's Candlestick Park

b_250_0_16777215_00_images_obgrabber_2013-08_87e497572f.jpgMJ Kim/MPL Communications Ltd. -- On August 29, 1966, The Beatles played their final official concert at San Francisco's Candlestick Park and now Paul McCartney apparently is considering returning to the famous venue to perform the last show ever there.  The city's mayor, Ed Lee, tells the San Francisco Chronicle that he had a chat with Sir Paul and revealed that the rock legend surprised him by suggesting that he play one last show at Candlestick before the ballpark is torn down next year.

Robert Plant Celebrates His 65th Birthday Today

While Plant hasn't performed live with his surviving Led Zeppelin band mates since their memorable London reunion concert in December 2007, he's thrown himself into a number of other projects.

Police: Man Found Dead at Olivia Newton-John's House Took His Own Life

"Subsequent to an autopsy this morning, conducted by the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner's Office, it was determined Tequesta resident, Christopher Pariseleti, died as the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound," the Jupiter Police Department said Tuesday in a statement to ABC News.

Ex-Yes Singer Jon Anderson Taking Part in New Progressive Rock Cruise
