Louise R. Jorgenson, 82, a 47 year resident of Shelton went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 2nd, 2013.
Louise was born April 25, 1931 in Olympia to Knute and Ida Anderson. After graduation from Olympia High School she held several secretary positions prior to marrying Bruce in 1966. She was the secretary for a junior high school and then with the Washington State Patrol's accident prevention division. Next Louise moved to Seattle and became secretary to the Union Oil Company's auditor.
In 1966 she married Bruce and moved to Shelton where they owned and managed Radio Station KMAS. She became the station office manager and bookkeeper while raising a family.
Louise loved baking her Swedish cookies, oil painting, and gardening. She was an active member of the Shelton First Baptist Church, and served often on committees of her orthopedic and the cancer society.
Louise particularly enjoyed the year and a half spent with her family at a small army base in Pennsylvania when her husband Bruce, a colonel, was called back to active duty in the 70's.
Louise is survived by her husband Bruce, daughters Jill and Karen, four step grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
No service is planned and donations can be made to the Shelton First Baptist Church.
