Sharon L. Rogers

rogerssharon.jpgSharon L. Rogers, was born in Glendale, CA on March 8, 1946. Sharon was raised in Redmond, WA. She enjoyed showing her cocker spaniel champions, swimming competitively in high school and was a member of the US Women's Army Corps, winning the title of Miss Armed Forces 1965. Sharon came to Shelton in 1979 and was employed by the Mason-Thurston Retired Senior Volunteer Program where she was the Mason County Coordinator before she retired.
She died peacefully in Anacortes with her family at her side on December 15, 2011.
Sharon is survived by her children: Chris Rogers Of Issaquah, Laura Simon of Anacortes and six grandchildren. Internment at Willamette National Cemetery, Oregon.
