Letha Blanchard went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Shelton Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 86. Letha was born on December 14, 1925 to William Franklin and Clara Elizabeth (Ritchie) Wilson  in Morton, WA. She resided with her daughter Theresa and son in law, Ron Jonker of Shelton along with her beloved dog, “Angie”. She is also survived by her son William Blanchard Jr, Montesano; grandchildren, David Blanchard, Ronald Jonker Jr. and Robert Jonker; great grandson, Zackary Jonker; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Letha was a former member of the Eastern Star in the Forks and Montesano areas. She was a devoted Mariner fan and enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, canning, cooking, fishing, camping, traveling, golfing, birds, bridge, art, reading and crossword puzzles. She was very fond of her family. She is preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. McComb Funeral Home was honored to serve this family.
