Jaime Diane Northness

NorthnessJaime.jpgJaime died June 1, 2012 at St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington of sepsis.  She was 35 years old.  Jaime was born May 19, 1977 to Glenda (Young) and Ken Kempton, in Olympia, Washington.  She attended Shelton High School and the New Market Skills Center where she studied computer programming.  Jaime lived in Eastern Washington and also in Arizona where she worked in the hotel industry, before returning home to live in Shelton.  She worked in the medical billing field for several years and also as a dispatcher.  Jaime enjoyed reading, music, watching movies and theater and especially spending time with her children. 
She is survived by her husband, Eric Northness; daughter, Jerica Northness; sons, Levi and Jason Northness; her father, Ken Kempton; grandmother, Milli Eddy; sister, Jennifer Madara (John); brother, Jeremy Kempton (Heather); Uncle, Dan Kempton (Patti), all of Shelton; Aunts Sharon Taylor of Olympia and Carol Criss of Aurora, Colorado; two cousins, two nephews and a niece, all of Shelton. 
She was preceded in death by her mother, Glenda Kempton; grandparents Myron Eddy and Hazel Young; and great-grandmother Judy Johnston.

Virginia Keith

KeithVirginia.jpgVirginia Minnie Keith, 84, died of natural causes on Friday, June 1, 2012, in the comfort of her eldest daughter’s home surrounded by her family. Virginia was born on February 1, 1928 to Samuel N and Gladys (Krogness) Herrick in Ephrata, WA.
In July of 1964, she married Harold Keith in Ketchikan, AK where she raised her seven children. Virginia and her husband also owned and operated A&A Auto Wrecking. Virginia attended the Matlock Community Church.
Her hobbies included sewing, quilting (making a quilt for everyone of her grandchildren and great grandchildren), gardening, and crafting. She enjoyed flowers, birds and butterflies. Her family will remember her with loving memories. She was a special person who always enjoyed her family and friends and looked for the good in everyone. She was the strength of her family, was genuinely loved and will be forever missed.
She is survived by daughters, Kathy LeGarde, Shelton, Laura Widmyer, Shelton, Debbie Powers, Colorado and Jenny Wilks, Edna Bay, AK; sons, Bob Widmyer, Ketchikan, AK, Jimmy and Kenny Widmyer, both of Edna Bay, AK; stepsons, Kenny, Leroy, and Ted Keith; brothers, Robert and Don Herrick, both of Shelton and sister Francis Pritchard, Chehalis, WA; 29 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by both her husband Harold Keith and sister Maxine English. Memorial donations can be made to Adopt-a-Pet, 940 E. Jenson Rd. Shelton, WA.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Shelton Memorial Park.
A reception will follow at the Matlock Grange. The family was served by McComb Funeral Home.

 

Charles Mark Stoddard Jr.

StoddardCharlesJr.jpgCharles Mark Stoddard Jr., 67, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA. He was born in Auburn, Nebraska on August 12, 1944 to Charles Mark and Mildred P. (Guilliatt) Stoddard Sr.
Charles served in the Army National Guard for four years and then served in the US Navy for twenty years retiring in 1987.  Prior to this he was a foundry worker for two years and a farmer in Auburn, NE.  On October 8, 1969, he married Neita Bletscher in Falls City, NE.  They were married for forty-two years.  Charles was a member of Fleet Reserve, Silverdale United Methodist Church and Shelton United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed square dancing from 1986 to 2007 at two clubs, Gamboliers at Port Gamble, WA and Paws and Taws at Gorst, WA.  Charles also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pinochle, riding motorcycles, and ATV four-wheeling. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Sally House, and his baby brother, Phillip Stoddard. 
Charles is survived by his wife, Neita Stoddard of Elma, WA; sons, Jerry L. Stoddard (Annette) of Elma, WA and Charles Mark Stoddard III (Michelle) of Bremerton, WA; daughters, Bonnie J. Davis (Jeff Thompson) of San Diego, CA and Janette M. Arnold (Pete Lopez) of League City, TX; brother, Curtis A. Stoddard of Hawthorne, NV; sister, Leigh Hugo of Chisago City, MN nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; two nephews, an aunt and numerous cousins. 
Memorial donations may be sent to Fire District #13, 13375 W. Cloquallum Rd, Elma, WA  98541. 
A memorial service will be held at Shelton United Methodist Church on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 1:30 pm.  The family is being served by McComb Funeral Home.
