Beginning Monday, visitors to the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge will again be able to walk to the observation platform at the end of the Nisqually Estuary Boardwalk Trail. The final section of the boardwalk has been closed since October for waterfowl hunting season. The boardwalk gives visitors a chance to see a variety of bird and waterfowl species. Trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset. The refuge visitor center is open Wednesdays-Sundays from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
