Razor Clam Dig Cleared To Run This Week
Clam diggers can return to coastal beaches Wednesday through Saturday to dig razor clams. The Washington Department of Fish and approved the latest dig after marine toxin tests showed the clams are safe to eat. As in previous openings, all digs are scheduled on evening tides.
Ski Resort At Snoqualmie Pass Opening Friday
The Summit at Snoqualmie says it finally has enough snow to open Summit West on Friday to limited operations. The resort says it will expand operations and may open Summit Center with another serious shot of snow.
New Recreation Plan Adopted
The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) recenlty adopted the Green Mountain and Tahuya State Forests Recreation Plan. The plan will guide the sustainable management of recreation in nearly 38,000 acres of DNR-managed forest land on and near the Kitsap Peninsula for the next 10 to 15 years.
