Razor Clams Galore!
We had so much fun at Moclips beach digging up razor clams this past weekend. The weather was cooperative, mild temps…not too much wind or rain. We started digging 1.5 hours before the lowest tides and found lots of big razors. We had to be quick though!
Master Hunter Permit Program Will Accept Applications Jan. 1
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) will accept applications for its Master Hunter Permit Program from Jan. 1 through Feb. 15, 2014. The program is designed to promote safe, lawful and ethical hunting, and to strengthen Washington’s hunting heritage and conservation ethic.
Evening Razor Clams Dig Starts Dec. 14
The next round of evening razor-clam digs is set to begin Saturday, Dec. 14, just in time to take home some clams for the winter holidays. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) approved the opening after marine toxin tests showed the clams on those beaches are safe to eat.
