Salmon And Gamefish Seasons On Skokomish
Action: Salmon and gamefish seasons on the Skokomish River will remain open through Dec. 15. Terminal gear (hooks, weights, lures or baits) and line must not be within 25 feet of tribal gillnets. Effective Date: Effective Nov. 1 through Dec.15, 2013. Species affected: Salmon and gamefish.
ONP Welcomes Visitors to Enjoy Fall
With relief and enthusiasm, Olympic National Park staff is returning to work Thursday morning and reopening the park to visitors. All park roads, trails and facilities normally scheduled to be open at this time of year are being reopened as quickly as possible; all will be open by 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 17, 2013.
October Razor Clam Dig Approved, November Digs Tentatively Set
State shellfish managers have approved a six-day razor clam dig starting Oct. 17 and have scheduled tentative dates for additional openings in November. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) approved the final October dig after marine toxin tests confirmed the clams are safe to eat.
