Boy Who Fought 'Under 12 Rule' Gets Lung Transplant

Javier Acosta, 12, underwent an adult double-lung transplant on Oct. 13, but his mother, Milagros Martinez, didn't want to announce it until he recovered from surgery.

Should Women Shun Carbohydrates?

In her survey of 3,000 women, Jane Ogden, professor in health psychology at the University of Surrey, says that close to 50 percent of respondents don't feel right about eating carbohydrates and would like to eliminate them from their diets to lose weight.
