United Way Raises Almost $10, 000 At Valentine Fundraiser
United Way of Mason County was just shy of raising $10K at their 6th Annual Valentine Dessert & Gift Auction February 13th. Guests shared their generosity as they entered into friendly bidding wars (sometimes with themselves) over the wonderful array of locally made desserts as well as sweetheart getaways.
It’s a toss-up over who had more fun, our bidders or our MC, Dale Hubbard.
We’d like to give a shout out to our Heartstring Sponsor: Green Diamond Resource Company. Cupid Sponsors: New York Life/Bradley Miller, Our Community Credit Union, The Shopper, and Simpson Lumber Company. Amor Sponsors: Arnold Smith Insurance, Bakala State Farm Insurance, Better on You, The Hiawatha Corporation, Hood Canal Communications, John & Bev Gorman, Maple Glen Senior Living and Shelton Dental Excellence. We’d also like to thank Blooms by the Park and Lynch Creek Floral for donating the beautiful centerpieces, and Alpine Way Senior Living for a wonderful lunch.
