A suspected drunk driver struck a Mason County patrol car Wednesday, just after 5PM in downtown Shelton. Shelton driver 30-year old Brandon Dahl drove through the intersection at Grove St. and SR3 and was struck by 38 year old Jason Sisson, a Mason County Sheriff’s Deputy.
Dahl, driving a Red Honda, failed to stop before entering the intersection and was hit by Sisson, who was heading SB on SR3 in a fully marked Mason County Sheriff’s Office vehicle.
The road was blocked for 2 ½ hours. Dahl was charged with a DUI.
The Deputy was taken in to Mason General for minor injuries.
