Lacey Women Charged With Animal Cruelty

A Lacey woman has been charged with animal cruelty after neighbors showed a video recording of the abuse to Thurston County Animal Services. The Thurston County Prosecutor’s office filed a criminal charge in the case - alleging that she abused a seven-week-old German shepherd mix puppy named Bella. Animal Services took custody of the puppy, who is in foster care and recovering well. The woman, Natasha Marie Pabon will appear in court Aug. 5th for arraignment. The maximum penalty is one year in the county jail and/or a $5,000 fine.
