A parked Ford Ranger caught fire about 7AM Monday morning. No one was in the vehicle parked on Railroad Avenue. Paul Todd, owner of the vehicle and Todd’s Shoe Repair, had just driven to work and parked his Ranger.
Todd was inside working when the fire broke out. According to Todd, he warmed up his Ranger and drove less than a mile to work, parked and went into his shop to start his day. About a half hour later, police were banging on his door pointing at his truck on fire. Per Todd the cause of the fire was not identified and no police reports will be filed as the fire appeared to be electrical. There were no injuries.
