At Least Two Dead in Plane Crash off Florida Coast

b_250_0_16777215_00_images_obgrabber_2013-11_038b7196d9.jpgiStockphoto/Thinkstock (FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.) -- A jet crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida Tuesday night, shortly after taking off from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The Coast Guard said searchers have already recovered two bodies. It is believed four people were aboard, and rescuers are continuing to search the area.

The crash is under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board. The plane, which crashed at about 8 p.m., had been en route to Mexico.
