DC Gun Laws Some of the Strictest in US

Even though the Supreme Court struck down Washington, D.C.’s ban on the possession of handguns in the home in 2008, the District still has a litany of laws on the books that make it more difficult to obtain some firearms, impossible to obtain others, and illegal to carry any loaded gun in the city.

NJ Boardwalk Fire to Be Ruled Accidental

Hundreds Remain Unaccounted for After Deadly Colorado Flooding

NC Police Fatally Shoot Man Seeking Help After Car Accident

Officer Randall Kerrick told investigators he and his fellow officers were responding to a "breaking and entering" call from a resident early Saturday morning who said a man had been knocking on her door repeatedly but she refused to respond.

Birmingham Church Bombing Victims Honored on 50th Anniversary
