'Whitey' Bulger Defense Cites 'Unholy Alliance' of FBI, Killers and Liars

The defense for a man his lawyers admitted made millions from crime was more about corruption in the FBI than it was about his innocence.

Alex Rodriguez, 12 Others Suspended in Relation to PEDs

Twelve other players were suspended by Major League Baseball for 50 games each, without pay, for allegedly using prohibited performance-enhancing drugs. "I am disappointed with the penalty and intend to appeal and fight this through the process,” Rodriguez said in a statement.

Ohio Death Row Inmate Found Dead

Billy Slagle, 44, had been sentenced to die by lethal injection for the 1987 fatal stabbing of a neighbor during a Cleveland burglary.  Two young children witnessed the murder.
