Man Drives Car Off Cliff, Survives, Fights Rescuers

He was transported to a hospital by helicopter, the San Diego Fire Rescue Department told ABC News. It appeared that the man only sustained minor injuries, said Maurice Leque, the Public Information Officer for the San Diego Fire Rescue Department.

Hawaii Readies for Tropical Storm Flossie

According to the latest advisory from the National Weather Service, the storm is moving west northwest with maximum sustained winds of 45 miles per hour.  A tropical storm warning is in effect for Hawaii County, Maui County, Oahu Kauai and Niihau.

Bus Swept Away in Arizona Flash Flood

None of the 33 people on board the tour bus were hurt, and they managed to get to dry land after it came to a stop, Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District No. 1 officials said.

FAA Places Restrictions on Foreign Pilots Landing at San Francisco

Steve Ganyard.

Husband Charged in Cyanide-Poisoning Death to Appear in Court

An extradition hearing will be held for Dr. Robert Ferrante, 64, who was taken into custody last Thursday, charged with one count of criminal homicide.
