Spencer Ball, a cabin owner in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah, was having breakfast in his living room on Monday when he spotted the unwelcome guest licking a hummingbird feeder on his porch, ABC News affiliate KTRK reported.

Sheriff's Deputy, Child Rescued from Rip Current Off Oregon Beach

According to the Curry County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Terry Brown was the first deputy to the scene where a young boy was reportedly struggling against a rip current and in imminent danger.

Ryan Chamberlain Had Makings of a Bomb at Home: FBI

b_250_0_16777215_00_images_obgrabber_2014-06_6c2e291887.jpgFBI (SAN FRANCISCO) -- Ryan Chamberlain, the target of a nationwide manhunt that ended near San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, had all the makings of a homemade bomb at his apartment, according to an affidavit released on Tuesday. The FBI says it found a "powdery, green substance" along with a model rocket motor, a glass jar containing batteries, a circuit board, ball bearings and other materials authorities believe were "designed to maim or kill a human being or human beings" during a search of Chamberlain's home on Saturday.

Boston Marathon Bombing Suspect Told Mom He Expected to Die

According to court records, Tsarnaev “sent an email to his mother in which he told her he loved her and ended with, “Inshallah [i.e. God willing] if I don’t see you in this life I will see you in the akhira [i.e. afterlife].”

Search Continues for Hiker Who Disappeared in Arizona

Police were also trying to find a man caught on a store’s security camera -- potentially the last person to see Fernandes. Fernandes, 23, hasn’t been seen since he went hiking on Camelback Mountain in Phoenix. His car was found parked at a trailhead, and calls to his phone have gone unanswered.
