Arizona Ban on Driver's Licenses for Some Undocumented Immigrants Struck Down

The ruling is a setback for Arizona Republican Governor Jan Brewer, who has fought tooth and nail with the Obama administration on immigration issues affecting her state, said in a statement, "It is outrageous, though not entirely surprising, that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has once again dealt a blow to Arizona's ability to enforce its laws."

Chicago's Holiday Toll Was 82 Shootings, 14 Deaths

That number marks a significant jump from the same period last year, despite an increase of "hundreds" of officers on the street to prevent violence. "It's groundhog day here in Chicago again," Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy said Monday morning, in an apparent reference to repeated spasms of violence in the city.

Mystery Deepens in Case of Missing Pregnant Woman Erin Corwin
