Woman Gets 41 Years for Stabbing Death of Mother-In-Law

Ellyzabeth Rainey was sentenced Friday after pleading guilty in January to the second-degree murder of her husband's mother, Deborah Rainey, 59, whom she killed by throwing boiling water on her, hurling free weights at her head, stabbing her and pouring bleach into her mouth and nose.

Police Bust Virginia Sexting Ring Involving More Than 100 Teens

The investigation, involving both middle and high schoolers across six counties, began when a mother reported suspicious activity on her daughter's Instagram account to a school in late March, authorities said.

Dozens Injured at Annual Block Party in Isla Vista, Calif.

Saturday. The block party, attended by thousands, turned violent as people threw rocks, bricks, and bottles. Dozens of people were hurt, including police officers. One officer was hit in the head with a brick while another officer needed hand surgery after being struck with a bottle.

Seattle Man Sold Narcotics at Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings
