Dustin Friedland, 30, an attorney from Hoboken, was shot in the head on Dec. 15 in front of his wife after the couple loaded their car with holiday gifts at The Mall at Short Hills, about 12 miles west of Newark.

Army's New Laser Weapon Can Shoot Down Mortars, Drones

9/11 Families Can Sue Saudi Arabia, Judge Rules

The ruling, issued Thursday, struck down an earlier decision that found Saudi Arabia immune from lawsuits. The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said it's in the "interests of justice" to allow them to proceed.

Dramatic Helicopter Rescue from Crashed Plane Caught on Tape

The video shows the helicopter flying above the crashed plane, before the pilot set down and an officer ran to the burning plane and dragged the pilot into a nearby field.

George Zimmerman Gets His Guns Back, So Does Girlfriend

Zimmerman, 30, whose arsenal was confiscated in November following a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, picked up his four firearms, including a shotgun and an assault rifle, from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office in Sanford, Fla., this week. He was eligible to retrieve the weapons since Dec. 11, when assault charges against him were dismissed.
