Former Indiana Congressman Andrew Jacobs Jr. Dies at 81

Jacobs served 14 terms as a Democratic congressman between 1965 and 1997, representing Indiana's 10th Congressional District. In the span of 32 years, he lost only one reelection bid -- in 1972, says ABC's Indianapolis affiliate RTV6.

His father was a one-term Congressman from Indiana. Jacobs served in the military in the Korean War as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Jacobs is survived by his wife and two sons.
