Kerry to Continue Peace Talks on January Trip to Middle East

b_250_0_16777215_00_images_obgrabber_2013-12_781a16856a.jpgUS Department of State (WASHINGTON) -- Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Jerusalem and Ramallah, West Bank, on Jan. 1 to continue peace talks between Israel and Palestinians. During the trip, Kerry will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. The trip, announced in a press release from the Department of State, will be a continuation of "negotiations between the Israelis and Palestinians, among other issues."

The State Department didn't announce a date for Kerry's return to Washington.
