Former Va. Gov. Bob McDonnell Takes Stand at Corruption Trial
(WASHINGTON) -- Former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell took the stand on Wednesday to testify at his public corruption trial. McDonnell and his wife stand accused of accepting over $165,000 in cash, goods and trips as part of a 14-count indictment. He spoke on the stand about the difficulty of running a state-wide campaign and how taxing it can be on a marriage.
