Pentagon Announces US Destroyer Will Enter Black Sea by Thursday

Steve Warren announced Wednesday.  The ship will transit the Strait of Bosporus on Thursday and head to the Black Sea for unspecified training with partner nations. The likelihood that another U.S. Navy ship was headed to the Black Sea emerged last week, but the name of the ship wasn’t fully defined because of potential schedule conflicts.

Republicans Say Democrats' Push for Equal Pay Exploits Women

The Republicans claim their foes are merely using the issue for political gain in a hotly contested election year. The salvos fired by Republicans Tuesday came on what Democrats dubbed "Equal Pay Day," a push to end an apparent income inequality in which women supposedly earn 77 cents for every dollar a man earns.

Rubio Won't Be Deterred by Possible Bush White House Run

Jeb Bush decide before the end of the year that he will seek the 2016 GOP presidential nomination, it won't affect Florida Sen. Marco Rubio's future plans. Rubio, often mentioned as a potential Republican contender for the White House, was mentored by Bush and his association with the popular ex-governor helped propel him to a Senate victory in 2010.
