Back for the 40th consecutive year, the Model Railroad Show will showcase dozens of highly detailed, creative scenic layouts, displays and activities that deliver a lasting impression. Partake in the tiny world of modeling, tinkering and engineering and discover why our Model Railroad Show has been a Northwest family tradition since 1974. Play engineer and operate trains, explore dozens of layouts, try themed hands-on craft activities and ride the Iron Horse Railway under Pacific Science Center's iconic arches. Complete your trip with the IMAX® film Rocky Mountain Express and experience the adventure of a transcontinental railway on Seattle’s biggest screen.
WHO: Presented in conjunction with the National Model Railroad Association, Pacific Northwest Region 4th division. The group provides dozens of layouts, displays and activities that capture the public’s interest in trains and train models. In addition to the NMRA layouts, guests can build their own train and tracks at the LEGO railroad display.

Entry is included with paid admission to Pacific Science Center’s exhibits. Admission to Pacific Science Center is $18 for adults; $13 for youth 6 to 15; $10 for kids 3-5 and $16 for seniors 65 and over. Children under three receive free admission.
