Ribbon Cutting, Building Dedication, Open House & BBQ Planned For The Sheriff’s Office New North Precinct in Belfair. The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the grand opening and building dedication of our North Precinct, located at 23293 NE State Route 3, Belfair, WA, 98528.
The ribbon cutting and building dedication ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 22nd, 2014 at 11 AM, with a public open house and free BBQ to follow from noon until 4 PM.Due to the honored service of former Sheriff Steve Whybark and his first establishment of Sheriff’s Office volunteers for the Belfair Substation, the new North Precinct will be dedicated as the “Sheriff Steve Whybark Public Safety Building”.This event is open to the public! Everyone is encouraged to attend this special event!There will be:
- FREE BBQ with hamburgers & hotdogs, chips & drinks
- Guided tours of the new facility
- Question/answer opportunities with Sheriff Casey Salisbury & his command staff
- Meet & greet with the new North Precinct Commander: Chief Deputy Ryan Spurling
- Static Displays of Mason County Sheriff’s Office Equipment
- Deputies with their K-9
Sheriff Casey Salisbury stated that this event has been many years in the making and could not have been accomplished without the dedicated efforts and partnership with the many citizens who support the Sheriff’s Office! The establishment of a full working precinct will be a definite boost in the protection of all citizens who live, work and play in Mason County.Temperatures are expected to be cool and possibly a little wet, so please dress warm and come to this Hot event!!!
