Maintenance & Construction

The following construction and maintenance activities are scheduled for the week of June 15 - 21, 2013. It is a busy year for construction on roadways in the Olympic Region. WSDOT has several projects to improve safety, ease congestion and maintain infrastructure.

MAINTENANCE

US 101, Hama Hama

TIME/DAYS: 8: a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 18
DESCRIPTION: Removing brush to improve sight distance and visibility for motorists.
LOCATION: Both directions of US 101 from milepost 319 to milepost 320.
EXPECT: Single alternating lane of traffic. Traffic delays expected to be minimal.

US 101, Lilliwaup

TIME/DAYS: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 19
DESCRIPTION: Mowing, cleaning culverts, clearing brush
LOCATION: Both directions of US 101 from milepost 327.5 to 328.5
EXPECT: Single alternating lane of traffic. Traffic delays expected to be minimal.

US 101, Big Quilcene River

TIME/DAYS: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 20
DESCRIPTION: Bridge inspection.
LOCATION: Bridge spanning Big Quilcene River at milepost 296.7
EXPECT: Single alternating lane of traffic controlled by flaggers. Traffic delays expected to be minimal.

SR 106, Dalby Rd.

TIME/DAYS: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, June 17 through Friday, June 21
DESCRIPTION: Crews working for Mason County PUD will install a new water main and services along SR 106.
LOCATION: Eastbound SR 106 at milepost 6.7 to milepost 6.9
EXPECT: Eastbound lane will be closed. Single alternating lane of traffic controlled by flaggers.

CONSTRUCTION

No construction activities that will affect traffic are scheduled this week.
