Morning Mowing Reduces SR 302 To One Lane Next Week

KEY PENINSULA – Morning mowing activities four days next week will reduce sections of State Route 302 (Key Peninsula Highway North) to one alternating lane of traffic. From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday through Thursday, March 17-20, Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will mow along a two-mile stretch of Key Peninsula Highway between 138th Avenue Key Peninsula Highway North and 118th Avenue NW. The goal of the mowing is to increase sight distance for motorists, and the two-hour daily work window will allow crews to complete that task while minimizing effects on traffic. Flaggers will provide traffic control and motorists are advised to expect short delays during that two-hour timeframe.
