Shelton Arts Commission Has Openings

Shelton, WA-- The City of Shelton is now accepting letters of interest from individuals interested in volunteering on the Shelton Arts Commission. The advisory committee is a permanent group that will meet on a regular basis to encourage, conduct, sponsor or co-sponsor public programs to further the development and public awareness and interest in the fine and performing arts.

Current and past projects the commission has undertaken include Empty Bowls, Shelton Art Festival, Shelton Art Walk, Civic Center Rotating Art Gallery, Mason County Title mural project, and Olympic College sculpture “Journey”.

There is one opening available that must be filled by a City of Shelton resident. Letters of interest may be submitted by mail or delivered to the Shelton Civic Center, Shelton Parks and Recreation, 525 West Cota, Shelton, WA 98584.
